Alisha is the proud owner of this multigenerational family business, founded by her late Mother, Christine Smith, and inspired by her Grandmother, Janine. Christine devoted her life to supporting seniors through community and home care, while Janine served as a Nurse at Lions Gate Hospital for 25 years, establishing the company’s foundation of compassion and support.

Born and raised in North Vancouver, Alisha has been involved in the company from a young age. With a background in business, retail and community services, she brings strong commitment to exceptional service. She is supported by her two brothers, an amazing team of caregivers and office staff, and thanks to their dedication and caring nature, the company is known for providing trusted and exemplary care.

Outside of work, Alisha enjoys spending time with her husband, their two children, and their pets, and loves being outdoors. She is committed to carrying her family’s legacy forward for generations to come.

Lene has worked over 20 years in seniors’ health care, having held leadership roles in both home care and long-term care across Vancouver. Throughout her career, she has been deeply committed to supporting families during the often challenging transition of caring for a loved one, providing guidance, advocacy, and reassurance every step of the way. As a member of the Engage BC Home Health Care Committee, Lene works tirelessly to improve home care, ensuring seniors and their families receive the support they need and deserve.

A lifelong resident of West Vancouver, Lene is a proud wife, devoted Mother, and loving chihuahua Mom. She takes great pride in helping families and the staff feel confident, informed, and supported in their journey. When not at work, Lene loves spending time with family and friends and travelling as much as she can with them all.

Jill is an experienced Accountant from North Vancouver with over ten years of expertise in financial management and operational support. She is known for her accuracy, reliability, and steady approach to keeping businesses running smoothly. Jill has a warm energy and always willing to help with whatever she’s involved in.

When she’s not balancing books or wrangling pets , Jill is a dedicated mom of two and shares her home with her husband, four cats, and a dog. She enjoys camping, traveling, and exploring the outdoors, and she stays active in her children’s school community by volunteering with her daughter’s soccer team and Girl Guides.

Trina grew up on the North Shore and has spent more than 15 years working with the public, as well as in the health and service industries, experience that has equipped her with excellent customer service and people skills. She has been part of the Living Well team for over a decade and genuinely loves what she does.

Trina works seamlessly with clients and caregivers, building strong relationships and using her scheduling expertise to ensure each client is matched with the right caregiver. Outside of work, Trina is passionate about health and fitness and enjoys spending time with her two rescue dogs, who are often spotted keeping her company at the office.

Yasmin is a Licensed Practical Nurse who works as a Clinical Care Manager for Living Well. Originally from Iran, she moved to Canada almost ten years ago and has since made North Vancouver her home. She has worked in the surgical unit in the hospital and continues to work upon building her strong clinical skills. Yasmin is passionate about home care and believes in providing compassionate, personalized support that helps clients feel safe, respected, and comfortable in their own homes. She values building meaningful relationships with clients and families throughout their care journey.

Outside of work, Yasmin enjoys skiing, going to the gym, and cozy movie nights at home on rainy days, and she is a proud cat mom to her beloved cat, Pishi.

Joanne, RN joined Living Well in 2022 and lives on the North Shore. As a Registered Nurse, she brings a wealth of experience in both hospital and community settings with an emphasis on Geriatric care. 

She provides oversight and on-call support, as well as training for staff, helping to ensure high standards of care and ongoing professional growth within the Living Well team.

Liz has worked in Home Support on the North Shore for over a decade. Through her work in community-based care, wellness has become a strong passion, leading her to advocate for both clients and health care workers.

She currently serves in Peer Mentorship and is a Registered Care aide. Liz’s work bridges staff support and client care in her unique role for the organization.

Earlier in her career, Liz built a background in design, ergonomics, and business ownership, which continues to inform her thoughtful, people-centered approach to home care.

Outside of work, Liz enjoys spending time with family and close friends, exploring new parks and neighbourhoods, and learning about people and their stories.
